WITH ME ABOUT THIS!
Unfortunately,
the plans to re-open did not materialize.
I
wish it had, I really miss the kids and their families.
I
again want to thank everyone for their support and prayer over the past
years. It was an exhausting, exhilarating, awesome (sometimes all
at the same time) experience. I was blessed beyond measure by being
a part of it.
I
want to appologize to all who have tried to contact me via the link below.
I have been WOEFULLY LAX in picking up email since I closed the site.
The last month or so before closing down, I was receiving several THOUSAND
spam emails per day sometimes, and I simply burned out. I had to
wade through all of them to find the very few I needed to see.
And,
some how, some way, I am receiving spam via the secure link on this page.
It is simply unbelieavable how spammers can do it. If only there
were some way to stop them. But, there isn't. So.........
Thanks
for your continuing prayer support. Who knows, God may have a way
to continue KNP yet!!

This
is a moment I had hoped would never come.
Kids
need prayer has been 10+ years of laughter, tears, and love for all these
precious children. God has given me hundreds of Spiritual Grand Kids
to take into my heart and love.
But,
due to many circumstances, I am closing the ministry down. This decision
was not made lightly. I have agonized over it for months. I
have cried, prayed, and spent sleepless nights making the decision.
I
have made so many wonderful friends all over the world
through it:
North
and South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, The Soviet States, Australia,
Japan, just about every place but Antartica! Many have become "pen"
pals - All are friends I would never have known without the Kids Need Prayer
ministry.
So
many moms and dads have shared their children with us, to pray for and
encourage. It is them that this site was dedicated to. And I have
come to love each and every one of them. I have been blessed beyond
measure by having known each of them.
I
want to thank each of you who have been a part of the prayer and support
system for these children. Only God knows how much has been accomplished
due to the prayers of the faithful.
| Especially,
I want to thank you parents who have placed your children into our lives,
and our hearts, to pray for and support. Our lives have been so blessed
by them, and you. I only pray that you have received much blessing
and love from all the prayer partners who have supported the ministry. |
Kids
Need Prayer MAY at some point start up again. I don't know - It depends
on God's leading. There may be someone that I could entrust the ministry
to. I just don't know. I am in tears as I write this.
It is still painful to know that it is ending.
Please,
continue to pray for all the kids, and me.

parents Mike
and Sarah, who
invited me into their lives to take part in little Victoria's very short
life. She was the first of my many "spiritual grandbabies".
She was the little girl who started the whole thing in August 1996!
Then there was "Nana Victoria"
who pushed me kicking and screaming onto the web the first time in 1997
by setting up the first prayer chain (SAP Jim Kids) and telling me to get
to work!!
Debbie,
who helped maintain the pages on the site for the kids.
Aunt
Edie, and
Michelle,
who took over the prayer chain and kept it going.
Elizabeth,
president of Children of the
Promise ministry, who was such an encourager and who was the inspiration
to begin Kids Need Prayer. She has many of the same children on her
site, and may add the other children from my site if the parents wish it.
All of these wonderful people have had major rolls in Kids Need Prayer.
I am deeply indebted to each of them - and to each of you, my faithful
prayer partners. |
